2026 Season

The U9 season runs from April 7th to June 24th

Associations will be scheduled games against neighboring associations 

to be determined by the manager or division manger 

 

Associations playing within the league schedule will be playing 3v3 cross floor format

Associations playing inter-association games will be playing 3v3 cross floor format

Associations wishing to play 5v5 games may do so in-house with no inter-association play until after June 1

 

 

Following rules from Appendix E option X with 10 players and and a goalie

Why do we play 3 on 3

With less players on the floor it allows more opportunities for players to touch the ball and improve their lacrosse skills

Players learn decision-making, technical skills and learn the game more

Lacrosse is Fun and by allowing more touches and opportunities to score gives players more self-esteem when playing Lacrosse 

 

Any association that chooses to play in-house can follow the playing rules of 3v3 or 5v5 

Playing 5v5 can only occur within the home association

 there is no 5v5 between associations until after June 1

Tournament and exhibition play in June can be 5 v5 between other associations

Tournaments have the option of 3v3 or 5v5 after June 1 pror to June 1 all tournaments as 3v3
